NEON continues to ramp up the intrigue surrounding its upcoming horror offering, “Longlegs,” with the release of the second part of its cryptic teaser video and poster, following last week’s enigmatic debut.

“Longlegs” is set to haunt theaters on July 12, 2024.

Directed by Osgood Perkins, known for his work on “The Blackcoat’s Daughter” and “Gretel & Hansel,” the film stars Nicolas Cage and Maika Monroe. Monroe takes on the role of an FBI agent, while Cage portrays a chilling serial killer.

Described as a homage to classic Hollywood psychological thrillers, “Longlegs” promises to deliver a spine-chilling experience for horror enthusiasts.

The latest poster installment, titled “Dirty: Part One,” accompanies the newly released teaser labeled “Dirty: Part Two,” which offers fresh glimpses into the film’s unsettling world, accompanied by a cryptic poem:

“Listen loud the serpents
See the darkness slithering
Tell me what good is that body
If not for hiding shiny red parts”

Nicolas Cage’s eerie presence looms large in the teaser, as he breathes and wheezes menacingly amidst disturbing imagery, referred to as “the man downstairs.”

In “Longlegs,” FBI Agent Lee Harker (Monroe) finds herself delving into the unsolved case of a notorious serial killer (Cage). As the investigation takes a chilling turn towards the occult, Harker discovers a personal connection to the elusive killer and races against time to prevent further tragedy.

Alicia Witt (“The Walking Dead”) and Blair Underwood (“American Crime Story”) round out the star-studded cast.

With an “R” rating for “Bloody violence, disturbing images, and some language,” “Longlegs” promises to deliver a pulse-pounding journey into the depths of terror.

Produced by Nicolas Cage’s Saturn Films, along with Dan Kagan, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Dave Caplan, and Chris Ferguson, the film’s eerie teasers have already begun making waves, playing ahead of screenings for “Abigail” in theaters this past weekend.
