Julia Garner and Jessica Henwick Star in Australian Thriller ‘The Royal Hotel’, Coming to Theaters in October
A social thriller starring Julia Garner (Ozark) and Jessica Henwick (The Matrix Resurrections), The Royal Hotel is set to be released in theaters on October 6th. The film follows two best friends backpacking in Australia who take a temporary live-in job behind the bar of a remote Outback mining town. However, things take a turn for the worse when the locals’ jokes and behavior cross the line, and Hanna and Liv find themselves trapped in an unnerving situation.
The film is directed by Kitty Green, who previously worked with Garner on the 2019 drama The Assistant. The Royal Hotel also stars Hugo Weaving (The Matrix), Toby Wallace (Babyteeth), Ursula Yovich (Mystery Road), Daniel Henshall (The Snowtown Murders), James Frecheville (Animal Kingdom), and Herbert Nordrum (The Worst Person in the World).
