A collaboration of five talented Latino filmmakers has given birth to the horror anthology “Satanic Hispanics,” set to hit theaters on Friday, September 14, 2023. Leading up to its release, Bloody Disgusting reported to have an exclusive sneak peek, introducing the enigmatic storyteller central to the anthology.

In this chilling film, a police raid on a house in El Paso reveals a gruesome scene, with lifeless bodies of Latinos strewn about, and only one survivor – known as The Traveler. When authorities bring him in for questioning, The Traveler begins recounting his extraordinary experiences in those mystical lands. He delves into tales of magic, horrors encountered over his extended lifespan, portals to otherworldly realms, mythical creatures, demons, and the restless undead. These narratives are entwined with Latin American legends, adding an intriguing layer of cultural richness to the horror.

Meet The Traveler, portrayed by Efren Ramirez, in the captivating clip below. The anthology, overseen by director Mike Mendez (“Big Ass Spider!”), weaves The Traveler’s story throughout, connecting it with four other spine-tingling tales of terror.

Joining Mike Mendez in this all-Latino-directed anthology are Alejandro Brugués (“Juan of the Dead”), Gigi Saul Guerrero (“Culture Shock”), Eduardo Sanchez (“The Blair Witch Project”), and Demian Rugna (“Terrified”).
