Brittany O’Grady from “The White Lotus” and E. J. Bonilla from “The Exorcist: Believer” headline the upcoming psychological horror film “In Our Blood.” A new clip has been unveiled ahead of its premiere at Fantasia, offering a tense preview featuring a chilling warning.

The movie follows filmmaker Emily Wyland (played by Brittany O’Grady) and cinematographer Danny (played by E. J. Bonilla) as they collaborate on a documentary about Emily’s reunion with her estranged mother after a decade apart. When Emily’s mother mysteriously disappears, possibly due to her past addictions that fractured their family, Emily and Danny embark on a quest fraught with increasingly sinister discoveries to locate her before it’s too late.

Watch the clip below to witness the protagonists in a gripping moment as they confront impending danger.

“In Our Blood” marks the narrative feature debut of Pedro Kos, an Oscar-nominated documentary filmmaker known for “Rebel Hearts” and “Lead Me Home.” The screenplay, penned by Mallory Westfall of “Fear the Walking Dead” and “Chucky” fame, promises a narrative that delves into reconciling with haunting memories from the past and confronting societal culpability in exploiting the vulnerable.

The ensemble cast includes Alanna Ubach (known for “Euphoria”), Krisha Fairchild (“Channel Zero,” “Krisha”), Steven Klein, Bianca Comparato (“3%”), and Leo Marks.

Producing the film are Aaron Kogan, Steven Klein, Gary Lucchesi, Michael McKay, and Stuart Fenegan, with Clay Tweel serving as executive producer. CAA Media Finance represents North American distribution rights for the film.
