‘Hostile Dimensions’ – Found Footage Multiverse Horror Set to Haunt Audiences in 2024
Following a successful festival run, the found footage sci-fi horror film, “Hostile Dimensions,” is set to bring its multiverse madness to audiences in 2024. Screen Daily has reported that Dark Sky Films has acquired the feature for North American release.
Written and directed by Graham Hughes, whose previous film “Death of a Vlogger” gained acclaim and recognition at FrightFest in 2019, “Hostile Dimensions” features Hughes himself alongside Annabel Logan.
The film’s story revolves around two documentary filmmakers who embark on an investigation into the disappearance of a graffiti artist who seemingly vanished. Their quest leads them to an eerie freestanding door, which takes them on a dark journey through different dimensions. As they dig deeper into their research, they encounter something far more terrifying than they could have ever imagined.
Graham Hughes explained that the film was inspired by the growing sense of nihilism in the world, making it an exploration of cultural questions and an attempt to make sense of the inexplicable or illogical aspects of society.
Giles Edwards of Dark Sky Films expressed enthusiasm for the film, praising it as a smart, witty, inventive, and entertaining genre film.
While the audience waits for the multiverse horrors to unfold in 2024, a clip from the film showcased at FrightFest gives a glimpse of the impending madness.
