‘Host’ Director Rob Savage Brings Stephen King Adaptation of ‘The Boogeyman’

Rob Savage the director behind ‘Host’ will bring us a new horror movie titled ‘The Boogeyman‘ a Stephen King adaptation that will hit Hulu and that has just been officially rated.

The Boogeyman is Rated “PG-13” for “Terror, violent content, teen drug use, and strong language.”

The original story was initially published in 1973 and then included in Stephen King’s ‘Night Shift’ collection in 1978.

The film stars Sophie Thatcher (“Yellowjackets”), Chris Messina (Birds of Prey), David Dastmalchian (Dune, The Suicide Squad), Marin Ireland (Y: The Last Man, The Umbrella Academy), Vivien Lyra Blair (Bird Box, Mr. Corman) and Madison Hu (Voyagers).

In ‘The Boogeyman’:

“Still reeling from the tragic death of their mother, a teenage girl and her little brother find themselves plagued by a sadistic presence in their house and struggle to get their grieving father to pay attention before it’s too late.”
