‘Home Safe’ – Mira Sorvino-Led Psychological Thriller Confronts Lethal AI Security
Director Jacob Vaughan, known for “Bad Mil0,” is set to explore the tension between an expecting couple and an advanced AI home security system in the psychological thriller “Home Safe.” Mira Sorvino (“Shining Vale”) has joined the cast, lending her voice to the sentient security system, Kiera.
In the film, Anna (Felisha Terrell), the editor-in-chief of a news magazine, and her husband Daniel (Jason MacDonald), the founder of an AI-centered home security company, find themselves threatened by a mysterious houseguest as they anticipate the arrival of their first child. Kiera (voiced by Sorvino), an advanced AI home security system created by Daniel, becomes increasingly sentient and poses a threat.
“Home Safe” was penned by Juddy Talt and features Emily Topper and Michael Shenefelt in the cast. The film, which has completed production, is set to be presented to the market this Fall, and distribution details will be announced shortly.
The movie is produced in association with Uncle Easy Productions, with Scott Thigpen, Marie Halliday, and Jessica Fox-Thigpen producing for Crazy Legs Features. Executive producers include Tom Cappello, Ryan Ellison, Don Mandrik, Matt Ornstein, and Frank Schuler.
Stay tuned for more updates on the film, and in the meantime, you can catch Mira Sorvino playing three different characters in the Starz horror-comedy series “Shining Vale.”
