Framework Productions is excited to reveal the gripping first trailer for the action horror film “Herd.” As an Official Selection for this year’s FrightFest, the movie is set to make its World Premiere on August 26th at the renowned horror festival.
Directed by Steven Pierce, “HERD” boasts an impressive cast, including Corbin Bernsen, Timothy V. Murphy, Ellen Adair, Mitzi Akaha, and Jeremy Holm.
The story follows Jamie Miller (played by Ellen Adair) and her wife, Alex (portrayed by Mitzi Akaha), as they attempt to salvage their failing marriage through a secluded trip in rural Missouri. However, an accident leaves them stranded in Jamie’s small hometown, overrun by virus-infected creatures known as ‘Heps.’
In their struggle for survival, Jamie and Alex find refuge in a warehouse, serving as a survival base for locals led by Big John Gruber (played by Jeremy Holm). When a rival militia, led by Sterling (portrayed by Timothy V. Murphy), arrives at the warehouse claiming to trade supplies, tensions escalate, leading to a fierce battle between the two groups. Amidst the chaos, Jamie seeks an opportunity to escape and find a way back home.
Director & Co-Writer Steven Pierce expressed his enthusiasm for “HERD” premiering at FrightFest, describing it as a filmmaker’s dream come true. The movie promises an immersive experience for horror enthusiasts, both in the UK and globally.
