Today, first-look images were released, offering a tantalizing glimpse into the untold chapter based on Stephen King’s novel.
Pet Sematary: Bloodlines is set to premiere exclusively on Paramount+ in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Brazil on Friday, October 6. For all other international markets, the movie will debut on Saturday, October 7.

The official synopsis of this untold chapter reads as follows: “In 1969, a young Jud Crandall dreams of leaving his hometown of Ludlow, Maine, behind. However, he soon discovers sinister secrets buried within and is compelled to confront a dark family history that forever binds him to Ludlow. Joining forces with his childhood friends, Jud must battle an ancient evil that has plagued Ludlow since its inception. Once unleashed, this malevolent force has the power to annihilate everything in its path.”
Pet Sematary: Bloodlines features a talented ensemble cast, including Jackson White (Tell Me Lies, Mrs. Fletcher), Forrest Goodluck (The Revenant), Jack Mulhern (The Boys in the Boat, Mare of Easttown), Henry Thomas (The Fall of the House of Usher, Gerald’s Game), Natalie Alyn Lind (The Goldbergs, The Gifted), Isabella Star LaBlanc (True Detective: Night Country), alongside Pam Grier (Cinnamon, Jackie Brown), and David Duchovny (Californication).
Directed by Lindsey Anderson Beer in her directorial debut, the film boasts a script written by Beer and Jeff Buhler. It is produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian. Pet Sematary: Bloodlines will be part of the Paramount+ Peak Screaming collection, showcasing beloved horror movies and iconic Halloween episodes from popular series, catering to horror enthusiasts’ cravings.
