‘Flashback’: A Horror Short by ‘Host’ Writer Jed Shepherd Premiering on Netflix This Friday”
Jed Shepherd, the brilliant mind behind the Shudder hit “Host” and Rob Savage’s subsequent film “Dashcam,” has taken on the role of director for a new horror short titled “Flashback,” set to debut on Netflix.
Excitingly, Shepherd took to Twitter this week to share the news: “I’m very excited to announce Flashback, which I wrote/directed for Netflix. It stars some of the loveliest people I know and is out THIS Friday, October 20.”
Shepherd has also treated fans to a teaser trailer for “Flashback,” which features Jemma Moore (known for her role in “Host”) as a yoga teacher. Set in the heart of South London, this short film promises a blend of “time travel and monsters.”
In a noteworthy development, Fangoria has reported that the highly popular artist Trevor Henderson, renowned for his work with the “Mayfair Watcher’s Society,” collaborated with Shepherd on designing the monsters for “Flashback.”
In this gripping tale, “Flashback,” we witness a yoga teacher whose life swiftly unfolds before her eyes during a home invasion. Racing against time, she must utilize these flashbacks to journey back in time and rescue the man she loves.
