Flames Ignite the First Image From ‘The Omen’ Prequel, ‘The First Omen’
Today, 20th Century Studios unveiled a sneak peek of its upcoming psychological thriller, ‘The First Omen.’
Scheduled for an exclusive theatrical release nationwide on April 5, 2024, the film serves as a prequel to the revered horror franchise.

Leading the cast are Nell Tiger Free from “Servant,” Tawfeek Barhom of “Mary Magdalene,” Sonia Braga of “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” Ralph Ineson known for “The Witch” and his online persona Onyx the Fortuitous, and Bill Nighy of “Living.”
Arkasha Stevenson directs the film, based on characters conceived by David Seltzer (”The Omen”), with a storyline by Ben Jacoby (”Bleed”) and a screenplay by Tim Smith & Arkasha Stevenson and Keith Thomas (”Firestarter”).
The original 1976 classic, featuring Gregory Peck, Lee Remick, and Harvey Stephens, followed an American ambassador grappling with the unsettling belief that his five-year-old son is the Antichrist. This film gave rise to three sequels, including ‘Damien: Omen II’ in 1978 and ‘The Final Conflict’ in 1981, along with a 2006 reboot and a short-lived “Damien” television series.
Producing the film are David S. Goyer (”Hellraiser”) and Keith Levine (”The Night House”), with Tim Smith, Whitney Brown (”Rosaline”), and Gracie Wheelan as executive producers.
