First Look at ‘Terrifier 2’ Actress Lauren LaVera in New Horror Film, ‘The Well’

The Well, a dark supernatural thriller directed by Federico Zampaglione, is now filming for four weeks in various locations in Rome. Our first peek is today.

The Well stars Lauren LaVera as Lisa Gray, an aspiring art restorer who travels to a small Italian village to preserve a medieval picture.

Little does she realize that by doing so, a terrible curse and a monster created by horrible suffering will put her life at risk.

This compelling trip into the depths of evil, written by Zampaglione and the film’s lead producer Stefano Masi, also stars Claudia Gerini, Giovanni Lombardo Radice, Linda Zampaglione, Jonathan Dylan King, Lorenzo Renzi, Taylor Zaudtke, Gianluigi Calvani, and Yassine Fadel.

“Here I am…back on the scary horse,” Zampaglione said. I adore this genre because it explores our hidden anxieties, talks to the human soul, and plunges into total darkness while clinging to a sliver of light. The Well tugs at the strongest emotions, blurring the lines between fantasy and reality, right and wrong, and life and death.

Federico Zampaglione is the director of the Iperuranio Film production The Well, which was written by Federico Zampaglione and Stefano Masi and produced by Mario Pezzi and Stefano Masi. Set designer Blazej Wasiak, DoP Andrea Arnone, SFX Carlo Diamantini, Antonella Balsamo, Federica Puglielli, and costume designer Antonella Balsamo.
