England’s latest folk horror movie, helmed by filmmaker Dean Puckett, has completed production, and Deadline has unveiled an exclusive first-look image from the upcoming film.
Starring Emma Appleton, known for her role in “The Witcher,” this highly anticipated horror flick explores the chilling tale of a community on the brink of destruction as a relentless witch-hunt unfolds following the mysterious death of Magpie’s husband.
Joining Appleton in the cast are Jodhi May, Lewis Gribben, Barney Harris, Oliver Maltman, James Swanton, and Toby Stephens, delivering captivating performances that intensify the film’s eerie atmosphere.
Rebecca Wolff from Grasp the Nettle Films and Jude Goldrei from Lunar Lander Films take on the roles of producers, while Piers Holdsworth Hunt, Kate Byers, Linn Waite, Malik Ali, Badie Ali, Hamza Ali, Evan Leighton-Davis, and Rupert Hanbury-Tenison serve as executive producers. Daria Nitsche and James Brant step in as co-producers, with Ella Turner contributing as the associate producer.
