In the gripping clip below, a seemingly routine bedtime ritual takes a terrifying turn when it becomes apparent that an unknown entity is lurking nearby, yearning to break free.

Set in a dystopian near future where America is mired in war and corruption, History of Evil follows the journey of Alegre Dyer, a member of The Resistance, who escapes from political imprisonment to reunite with her family. Seeking shelter in a secluded safe house, the family’s peace is shattered as the dark history of their refuge begins to unravel, leading to disturbing revelations.

Starring Paul Wesley, Jackie Cruz, Murphee Bloom, and Rhonda Johnsson Dents, the film is written and directed by Iranian-American filmmaker Bo Mirhosseni. Drawing from his parents’ experiences during the Iranian revolution, Mirhosseni delivers a gripping narrative that explores themes of oppression and survival.

Produced by genre specialists XYZ Films in collaboration with Two & Two Pictures and Jake Siegel, History of Evil promises to deliver a spine-tingling experience that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
