Expanding from the faux trailer that originated in the Grindhouse Double Feature of 2007, Eli Roth’s “Thanksgiving” is poised to bring a blood-soaked spectacle to theaters on November 17.

This eagerly anticipated horror film has secured an “R” rating for its depiction of:

“Strong bloody horror violence and gore, pervasive language, and some sexual material.”

“Thanksgiving” will receive a global theatrical release, courtesy of TriStar Pictures and Spyglass Media Group (known for “Scream”).

In “Thanksgiving,” the plot unfolds after a tragic incident during a Black Friday riot. A mysterious killer, inspired by the Thanksgiving holiday, unleashes terror upon Plymouth, Massachusetts, the very birthplace of this infamous celebration.

The impressive cast for this feature-length slasher movie includes Patrick Dempsey, Addison Rae, Jalen Thomas Brooks (“Walker”), Milo Manheim (“Zombies”), Nell Verlaque (“Big Shot”), Gina Gershon (“Chucky”), Tim Dillon, and Rick Hoffman (famous for his role in “Hostel”).

Eli Roth, along with Jeff Rendell, is credited with writing the script for this eagerly awaited horror offering. The production is being handled by the capable hands of Roger Birnbaum and Eli Roth himself.
