Director Brad Anderson Joins ‘World Breaker,’ a Sci-Fi Survival Film
Deadline reports that ‘The Exchange’ is set to launch international sales rights for the thrilling sci-fi action film, “World Breaker.” The introduction of this title to the global market will occur during the forthcoming American Film Market (AFM), with the film’s domestic rights retained by the producers.
Esteemed filmmaker Brad Anderson, known for his work on “The Call” and “Beirut,” has been tapped to direct this project. The screenplay for “World Breaker” is the creation of Joshua Rollins, the mind behind “Infinite Storm,” and produced by Martin Brennan of 23ten, recognized for his involvement in “Zone 414.”
As filming preparations continue and the ongoing strike concludes, the cast for the film will be announced. The location for principal photography is set in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
The film’s intriguing synopsis provides a glimpse into the narrative: “Five years ago, a rift in the fabric of reality opened a portal to our world, unleashing creatures from an alternate dimension determined to bring about our destruction.
