It has now been revealed that their collaboration will take the form of a vampire movie. Joining this enigmatic venture is esteemed actor Delroy Lindo, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Warner Bros. has slated the untitled project for release on March 7, 2025, with plans for it to be screened in Imax theaters as well. Coogler, known for his work on “Black Panther,” has not only penned the script but will also take on the directorial duties for the film.
While specific plot details are being closely guarded, the movie is said to be set in the Jim Crow-era South and is rumored to incorporate both vampire lore and Southern supernatural traditions. Michael B. Jordan’s potential involvement in the film includes the portrayal of twin brothers, adding an intriguing layer to the storyline.
Character details are being kept under wraps, but Delroy Lindo’s role is said to have a musical component to it, offering a unique twist. Jack O’Connell is set to play the antagonist.
