Netflix’s latest supernatural mystery series, The Boroughs, is the newest collaboration with Executive Producers the Duffer Brothers (Stranger Things). According to Variety, six new actors have joined the cast, including Dee Wallace (Cujo, The Howling) and Ed Begley Jr. (Strange Darling).

Also joining the series are Rafael Casal (Loki, Blindspotting), Jane Kaczmarek (The Changeling), Eric Edelstein (Twin Peaks: The Return, Minx), and Mousa Hussein Kraish (American Gods, Your Lucky Day).

The series, which blends the supernatural with mystery, features a unique twist reminiscent of Stranger Things and Cocoon. The official logline reveals the premise:

“In a seemingly picturesque retirement community in the New Mexico desert, a group of unlikely heroes must band together to stop an otherworldly threat from stealing the one thing they don’t have… time.”
