Watch Official Trailer #2 for NEON’s *Cuckoo* below.
In Cuckoo, 17-year-old Gretchen reluctantly leaves her American home to live with her father, who has recently moved into a resort in the German Alps with his new family. Upon arrival, they meet Mr. König, her father’s boss, who seems oddly interested in Gretchen’s mute half-sister, Alma. As Gretchen navigates this seemingly peaceful vacation spot, she is haunted by strange noises and bloody visions, leading her to uncover a shocking secret involving her own family.
The cast also includes Dan Stevens (*The Guest*), Jessica Henwick (*Underwater*), Marton Csókás (*Freelance*), Greta Fernández (*Santo*), and Jan Bluthardt (*Luz*).
Cuckoo is executive produced by Tom Quinn, Jeff Deutchman, Emily Thomas, and Ryan Friscia for NEON, with producers including Markus Halberschmidt, Josh Rosenbaum, Maria Tsigka, Ken Kao, Thor Bradwell, and Ben Rimmer. Filmed on 35mm in Germany, the project is a collaboration between Germany’s Fiction Park and the United States’ Waypoint Entertainment.
