In a recent report by Variety, Gravitas Ventures has secured the rights to the highly anticipated killer sloth horror-comedy, “Slotherhouse,” with Iconic Events set to bring it to the big screen.

Directed by Matthew Goodhue, the movie revolves around Emily Young, a college senior aspiring to become the president of her sorority. Her ambitious plan takes an unexpected turn when she adopts an adorable sloth, which she aptly names Alpha, with the hope of making it their new sorority mascot and winning votes. The sloth becomes a beloved addition to the house until a series of mysterious deaths point towards the cuddly creature as the prime murder suspect. As the tension rises, the film transforms into a thrilling survival story, pitting the sorority sisters against the seemingly innocent sloth. But with sloths being famously slow-moving creatures, the girls wonder if they can make it out of Sigma Lambda Theta alive.
