Set to hit theaters on April 26, 2024, “Cinderella’s Revenge” has been eagerly anticipated, and Entertainment Weekly has just unveiled the official trailer along with some fresh insights. You can catch the trailer above.

According to a recent report from The Wrap, the film revolves around Lauren Staerck portraying the iconic Cinderella, who finds liberation from her cruel stepmother with the assistance of her fairy godmother, played by Natasha Henstridge. However, rather than steering her towards a royal ball to meet her prince, this fairy godmother aids Cinderella in executing a scheme of gory retribution.

Director Andy Edwards, known for his work on “Zombie Spring Breakers,” shared with EW this week, “We’ve got all the classic elements – Cinderella, the wicked stepmother, and the two sinister stepsisters, all subjecting her to mistreatment. But there are some unexpected twists and turns. Plus, there’s an infusion of sexuality and violence that may catch some off guard. So, there’s something for everyone!”

Starring alongside Staerck and Henstridge are Stephanie Lodge, Beatrice Fletcher, Megan Purvis, and Darrell Griggs.

“Cinderella’s Revenge” is brought to life by producers Mark Amin, Mark Lester, Cami Winikoff, and Jessica Mathis.

Producer Mark L. Lester expressed his anticipation, saying, “I can’t wait for audiences to experience this chilling reimagining of Cinderella on the big screen. It’s a thrilling and entertaining ride from start to finish.”
