Here’s the full synopsis for “Beast of War”…
In 1942, a warship transports hundreds of Australian soldiers across the Timor Sea to the WW2 frontline. Suddenly, Japanese fighter jets swoop down from the sky, transforming the ocean into a chaotic battleground of steel, fire, oil, and blood. With the vessel obliterated, a small group of soldiers improvises a raft from floating debris, clinging to life.
Tensions run high among the young, hotheaded, and terrified men as they unite to endure the treacherous circumstances. Yet, their most formidable adversary lurks in the shadows below, as a great white shark prowls amidst the wreckage, drawn by the scent of fresh blood.
Cornerstone’s Alison Thompson and Mark Gooder expressed their enthusiasm, stating, “We loved working with Kiah on Sting. He’s a kinetic filmmaker with a deep respect for the genre, and we know he will deliver a distinctive and adrenaline-fueled shark movie.”
