Longtime collaborators Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are joining forces once again for an upcoming Netflix movie titled “Animals.” This time, Affleck takes on the role of director while Damon is set to star in the film.

Described by Deadline as a kidnapping thriller, the plot details are currently under wraps, with the only known information being that the storyline revolves around a kidnapping. Connor McIntyre wrote the script, with revisions by Billy Ray.

The film will be produced by Affleck, Damon, and Dani Bernfeld of Artists Equity. Joining them as producers are Brad Weston and Collin Creighton of MakeReady, with Michael Joe, Kevin Halloran, and Fifth Season serving as executive producers.

Affleck and Damon previously collaborated on the film “Air,” where Affleck took on the directorial role. Their reunion for “Animals” adds another chapter to their longstanding friendship and creative partnership.
