In the upcoming Lionsgate thriller Amber Alert, Hayden Panettiere (Scream VI) and Tyler James Williams (The Walking Dead) find themselves in a gripping cat-and-mouse chase. The new trailer offers a glimpse of the intense thrills to come.

Amber Alert will hit theaters and Digital platforms on September 27, 2024.

The film follows Jaq (Panettiere) and Shane (Williams) as their routine rideshare turns into a high-stakes pursuit. After receiving an alert about a child abduction, they realize they’re trailing a vehicle that matches the kidnapper’s description. Racing against time, Jaq and Shane desperately work to rescue the child.

Directed by Kerry Bellessa (Immanence), who co-wrote the script with Joshua Oram, Amber Alert is produced by Joseph Restaino and Tony Stopperan of Hungry Bull Productions, Summer Bellessa and Kerry Bellessa of Bluefields Entertainment, and Leal Naim. Panettiere and Williams also serve as executive producers.

Panettiere recently returned to the screen in Scream VI, reprising her fan-favorite role of Kirby Reed from Scream 4 (2011). She also starred in the horror game Until Dawn, with a remastered version set for release this Fall. Williams, known for his role as Noah in The Walking Dead and his current performance in the acclaimed comedy Abbott Elementary, brings his experience in horror to Amber Alert.

Amber Alert will be available next month, just in time for the Halloween season.
