A24’s ‘Dream Scenario’: Nicolas Cage Stars in an “R”-Rated Film for Violence and Sexual Content
Nicolas Cage, a stalwart of the genre, is set to grace our screens once again in the upcoming A24 film ‘Dream Scenario’.
Directed by Kristoffer Borgli, known for his work on “Sick of Myself,” “Dream Scenario” is scheduled to hit theaters on November 10, 2023. The film has recently received an official “R” rating due to its content, including “Language, violence, and some sexual content.”
In “Dream Scenario,” the story unfolds around Paul Matthews, played by Cage, a somewhat hapless family man whose life takes a bizarre turn when he suddenly becomes a recurring presence in the dreams of millions of strangers. However, as his nocturnal appearances take a nightmarish twist, Paul must navigate the complexities of his newfound and unsettling stardom.
Joining Nicolas Cage in the cast are Julianne Nicholson, Dylan Baker, Kate Berlant, Michael Cera, Dylan Gelula, and Tim Meadows, promising an ensemble of talent to bring this intriguing tale to life.
Behind the scenes, the film is produced by Ari Aster and Lars Knudsen of Square Peg, along with Jacob Jaffke, Tyler Campellone, and A24.
