‘A Quiet Place: Day One’ Set to Arrive in Summer 2024
The forthcoming addition to Paramount’s popular horror franchise, “A Quiet Place: Day One,” is poised to be an expansion of the cinematic universe and is scheduled for release in theaters next summer.
Initially slated for a theatrical debut on March 8, 2024, it has just been revealed that “A Quiet Place: Day One” will now hit the big screens on June 28, 2024.
The cast features Lupita Nyong’o (known for “Us”), Joseph Quinn (famous for “Stranger Things”), and Alex Wolff (notable for “Hereditary”). Michael Sarnoski, the director of “Pig,” is set to helm this new installment in the “A Quiet Place” series.
Regrettably, no plot details are available as of now. However, it’s worth noting that this spinoff is built on an original concept by John Krasinski and has been scripted by Michael Sarnoski and Jeff Nichols.
Furthermore, it’s anticipated that the Abbott family’s narrative will eventually evolve into a trilogy, with John Krasinski recently hinting at having ideas for a third installment in the primary series.
The production team includes John Krasinski as a producer, along with Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller via Platinum Dunes. “A Quiet Place Part II” made an impressive debut at the domestic box office, earning $57 million in May 2021, and its global earnings have reached $297 million. This remarkable success underscores the franchise’s potential for expansion.
