Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures have revealed exciting news for fans of the MonsterVerse franchise. Following the success of “Godzilla vs. Kong,” they are gearing up for a sequel titled “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire,” set to hit theaters on April 12, 2024. But that’s not all – Legendary has teamed up with Rocketship to offer fans a prequel graphic novel called “Godzilla x Kong: The Hunted.”

Legendary Comics has initiated a Kickstarter campaign to allow fans to pre-order copies of “Godzilla x Kong: The Hunted,” and it is rapidly approaching its $79,000 funding goal.

Here’s a brief synopsis of the graphic novel: “A twisted Skull Island trophy hunter sets his sights on the most significant game of all, deep within the Hollow Earth, in the official prequel graphic novel to the upcoming film ‘Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.'”

In addition to “Godzilla x Kong: The Hunted,” Legendary Comics is treating fans to a second graphic novel titled “Monsterverse: Declassified” as part of the pre-sale campaign. This anthology will delve into classified Monarch secrets and ancient monster myths, offering a unique perspective on the Monsterverse.
