Based on the beloved novel by renowned author Neil Gaiman, Coraline takes audiences on a thrilling and suspenseful adventure. As a young girl discovers a secret door in her new home, she enters an alternate version of her life. Initially, this parallel reality seems remarkably similar to her own but with enticing improvements. However, when the fantastical journey takes a dangerous turn and her counterfeit parents attempt to keep her forever, Coraline must rely on her resourcefulness, determination, and bravery to save her family and find her way back home.
Written and directed by stop-motion maestro Henry Selick (known for his work on The Nightmare Before Christmas and James and the Giant Peach), Coraline features the talents of Dakota Fanning, Ian McShane, Teri Hatcher, Keith David, and the delightful British comedy duo Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders. The film’s stunning animation is brought to life by the award-winning studio LAIKA, known for its exceptional work on films like ParaNorman and The Boxtrolls.
