“Friday the 13th” franchise composer, Harry Manfredini, has spilled some news that is set to excite the fandom of the Friday the 13th franchise!  Not only will we be getting a new TV series aptly titled, Crystal Lake, to stream on Peacock in 2024, but Manfredini has spoken to RelyOnHorror’s William Lockwood at the Crystal Lake Reunion event that took place at Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco in Blairstown, New Jersey, the filming site of the 1980 original Friday the 13th film.

Lockwood spoke to Manfredini about his experiences composing the scores for the Friday the 13th series, as well as the 2017 game by IllFonic and Gun Interactive.  According to Manfredini, he has been working on the music for a new, unannounced Friday the 13th game.  When speaking about the upcoming game that hasn’t yet been publicly announced, Manfredini stated that the game will be a “more realistic looking” game with “more realistic looking” characters.  It will also be developed by a different developer and not be in the asymmetrical multiplayer vein as the previous game was.  He could not elaborate on the details and only knows about his part of the game.

This is all anyone knows about this new game, but once the news hit about Manfredini’s work on it, social media was buzzing with joy upon the leak.  Keep an eye out as more information becomes available!
