Prime Video has released an exciting first look and premiere date for the highly-anticipated adaptation of Harlan Coben’s thrilling book series, “Harlan Coben’s Shelter.”

The eight-episode series is set to premiere globally on August 18, exclusively on Prime Video across more than 240 countries and territories. Fans can look forward to new episodes every Friday, building up to the season finale on September 22.

Based on the first novel of Coben’s bestselling Mickey Bolitar trilogy, the series follows the gripping story of Mickey Bolitar, who starts a fresh life in Kasselton, New Jersey, following the sudden death of his father. Mickey becomes entangled in the mysterious disappearance of a fellow student, Ashley Kent, unraveling unimaginable secrets hidden within their seemingly tranquil suburban community. Alongside his resourceful friend Spoon and enigmatic companion Ema, Mickey delves beneath the town’s peaceful façade, unearthing a dark underworld that may hold the answers to decades of disappearances, deaths, legends, and even his own complex family history.

The investigation into his father’s death is prompted by a creepy old lady, whose ghostly presence adds an eerie element to this suspenseful whodunit series.

“Shelter” stars Jaden Michael as Mickey Bolitar, Constance Zimmer as Shira Bolitar, Adrian Greensmith as Arthur “Spoon” Spindell, Abby Corrigan as Ema Winslow, Tovah Feldshuh as Bat Lady, Sage Linder as Rachel Caldwell, Brian Altemus as Troy, and more talented actors.

The showrunners and executive producers, Harlan Coben and Allen MacDonald, lead the production team alongside executive producers Edward Ornelas and Erik Barmack. Charlotte Coben serves as a producer, while Patricia Cardoso takes on the role of director and executive producer.

This collaboration with Prime Video marks Harlan Coben’s exciting debut on the streaming platform.

Stay tuned for further updates and details on this upcoming thrilling series as they emerge.
