Noah Jupe (A Quiet Place, The Undoing) has been cast as the lead in the survival thriller Play Dead, Deadline reports.

Filming is set to begin next month in Melbourne, Australia, with Jaume Collet-Serra (Orphan, The Shallows) directing.

While plot details remain under wraps, the film’s script, written by Peter Stanley-Warda and Natalie Conway, has been described as a mix of Don’t Breathe and 1917.

Nocturnal is fully financing and producing the film, with additional production support from Ghost House Pictures, BoulderLight Pictures, and Bad Grey. The film will be produced by Akiva Nemetsky and Keaton Heinrichs for Nocturnal, Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert for Ghost House, JD Lifshitz and Raphael Margules for BoulderLight, and Dane Eckerle for Bad Grey.

Collet-Serra is also set to direct An Innocent Girl, a psychological thriller for Netflix.
