Jenna Ortega will return as the iconic Wednesday Addams, with Season 2 promising a bolder, darker, and more horror-driven storyline, according to Ortega’s teasers in recent interviews. Fans can expect the series to amp up the thrills this time around.
Joining Ortega in the second season are returning stars Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams and Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams. New to the cast is Lady Gaga, who is set to bring her unique flair to the show.
Wednesday is described as a supernatural mystery centered around Wednesday Addams’ years at Nevermore Academy. The series follows Wednesday’s attempts to control her growing psychic abilities, investigate a deadly spree that has shaken the local town, and unravel a supernatural mystery tied to her parents’ past— all while navigating her complicated new relationships.
Written and showrun by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (Smallville), the series also sees Tim Burton returning as executive producer and director for several episodes from Season 1.
