Production is officially underway for Ready or Not 2, and the horror sequel has already revealed its incredible main cast in a new video. Returning directors Radio Silence (Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett) are bringing back Samara Weaving for the highly anticipated follow-up, along with an exciting roster of new and familiar faces.

Weaving will reprise her role, joined by Kathryn Newton (Abigail), Sarah Michelle Gellar (Dexter: Original Sin), Shawn Hatosy (The Pitt), Néstor Carbonell (Shogun), Elijah Wood (Yellowjackets), and none other than horror legend David Cronenberg!

The sequel, officially titled Ready or Not: Here I Come!, promises to take the twisted fun to the next level.

You can check out the cast announcement video below, which includes all the names mentioned. Additionally, Deadline reports that Kevin Durand (Abigail) will also star in the sequel.

Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett are returning to direct for Searchlight Pictures, with the script penned by Ready or Not writers Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy.

“We’re thrilled to be returning to the world of Ready or Not with Samara,” said Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett in a joint statement. “We’re equally excited to work with such a talented new cast, and the entire creative team that’s joining the Ready or Not family.”

Matthew Greenfield of Searchlight Pictures adds, “We’re beyond excited to collaborate again with Radio Silence. We get to take the ride with the brilliant Samara Weaving, bring in some fantastic new voices, and deliver a fresh, twisted take that’ll have audiences on the edge of their seats. This is for everyone who’s been waiting for more, and those who never saw this coming.”

The original Ready or Not (2019) followed a young bride (Weaving) who, after marrying into a wealthy, eccentric family, is forced to play a deadly game of survival as part of their bizarre tradition.
