Anna Lore has officially joined the cast of ‘The Black Phone 2’, Deadline reports.

Lore, who will soon appear in Final Destination: Bloodlines, is also known for her roles in Doom Patrol, Gotham Knights, and the slasher film They/Them.

She joins returning stars Ethan Hawke as the terrifying Grabber, along with Madeleine McGraw, Mason Thames, Jeremy Davies, and Miguel Mora. New cast additions include Demián Bichir (The Nun) and Arianna Rivas (Prom Dates).

Director Scott Derrickson is back at the helm, co-writing the script once again with longtime collaborator C. Robert Cargill. Joe Hill, who penned the original short story that inspired the 2021 hit, is serving as executive producer.

Early buzz from CinemaCon teases a chilling twist: The Grabber returns from beyond the grave, echoing a Freddy Krueger–style vengeance arc targeting the survivors of the first film.

Produced by Blumhouse, The Black Phone 2 is set to hit theaters on October 17 via Universal.
