Kathryn Newton, known for her role as Abigail, will reunite with Radio Silence for Ready or Not 2, according to Deadline.

Newton joins Samara Weaving, who is returning for the sequel from Searchlight Pictures. Directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett are once again at the helm, with a script written by the original Ready or Not writers, Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy.

The first film followed a young bride (Weaving) who, after marrying into a wealthy, eccentric family, found herself caught in a deadly, high-stakes game where survival was the only option.

The sequel is produced by Tripp Vinson, James Vanderbilt, Bradley J. Fischer, and William Sherak, with Busick, Murphy, Chad Villella, Tara Farney, and Greg Denny serving as executive producers.

Searchlight’s Richard Ruiz and Cornelia Burleigh are overseeing the project for the studio, reporting to Co-Heads of Production and Development, DanTram Nguyen and Katie Goodson-Thomas.

Newton, a favorite in the genre, is also known for her roles in Freaky, Lisa Frankenstein, Paranormal Activity 4, and Supernatural.
