Shudder Announces Official Release of ‘V/H/S/8’ for 2025!
Fresh from New York Comic Con, Shudder has officially announced that the eighth installment of the V/H/S franchise, titled V/H/S/8, will be released on the horror streaming service in 2025.
The V/H/S series, created by Bloody Disgusting and Brad Miska, launched in 2012 and has since produced six sequels—V/H/S/2, V/H/S: Viral, V/H/S/94, V/H/S/99, and V/H/S/85—along with two spin-offs, Siren and Kids vs. Aliens.
Currently streaming, Shudder has also released V/H/S/BEYOND this Halloween season. The latest installment features six chilling segments that blend horror with a sci-fi-inspired nightmare.

– “Stork”: Directed by Jordan Downey, written by Downey and Kevin Stewart
– “Fur Babies”: Written and directed by Christian Long and Justin Long

– “Dream Girl”: Directed by Virat Pal, written by Pal and Evan Dickson
– “Stowaway”: Directed by Kate Siegel, written by Mike Flanagan
