Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for its upcoming supernatural series “Before,” billed as “an atmospheric, character-driven psychological thriller” featuring multi-award-winning actor and comedian Billy Crystal.

This ten-episode series, which premieres globally on Friday, October 25, will debut with its first two episodes, followed by weekly releases every Friday until December 20. The show is executive produced by Crystal, Oscar-winning writer Eric Roth, and creator Sarah Thorp.

The trailer showcases Crystal as Eli, a child psychiatrist grappling with the recent loss of his wife, Lynn (played by Judith Light). Eli encounters a troubled young boy, Noah (portrayed by Jacobi Jupe), who appears to share a haunting connection to Eli’s past. As Eli tries to help Noah, their mysterious bond deepens, hinting at both supernatural and psychological elements.

The series also stars multi-Emmy and Tony Award winner Judith Light (“Transparent”), Oscar nominee Rosie Perez (“The Flight Attendant”), Tony nominee Maria Dizzia (“Orange Is the New Black”), and Ava Lalezarzadeh (“In the Garden of Tulips”).

Created by Sarah Thorp (“The Bounty Hunter”), who serves as showrunner, writer, and executive producer, “Before” is produced by Paramount Television Studios. Executive producers include Crystal, Eric Roth (“Killers of the Flower Moon,” “Dune”), pilot director Adam Bernstein (“Silo,” “Billions”), and producing director Jet Wilkinson (“The Chi,” “Truth Be Told”).
