Last year, director Alexandre Aja announced his upcoming film under the title “Mother Land,” but it has since been renamed to “Never Let Go.” Lionsgate recently unveiled the official poster for the film.

The poster goes beyond mere imagery, delivering a chilling message: one touch is all it takes. With Aja at the helm, this promises a suspenseful journey for audiences.

Scheduled for release on September 27, 2024, “Never Let Go” is a psychological horror film where Academy Award® winner Halle Berry portrays a mother protecting her twin sons from an encroaching evil. Their only sanctuary is their home and the tight-knit bond of their family. To stay safe, they tether themselves together, clinging desperately to each other with the mantra to never let go. However, when doubt creeps in and one of the boys questions the reality of the threat, their unity fractures, plunging them into a harrowing battle for survival.

The narrative draws comparisons to films like “A Quiet Place” and “Bird Box,” focusing on a small family unit grappling with the horrors of a world in turmoil. If you haven’t seen the trailer yet, it features eerie snake imagery that underscores the film’s tense atmosphere.

Joining Halle Berry in the cast are Percy Daggs IV (“The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey”) and Anthony B. Jenkins (“Florida Man”). Take a look at the official poster art below.

Executive producers include Halle Berry, Holly Jeter, Daniel Clarke, Emily Morris, Christopher Woodrow, and Connor DiGregorio.
