New ‘Insidious’ Film Set to Haunt Theaters in Summer 2025
Following the success of last year’s box office hit “Insidious: The Red Door,” Sony has confirmed the release date for the next chapter in the chilling ‘Insidious’ saga.
Mark your calendars for August 29, 2025, when the untitled next installment is set to haunt theaters.
However, it’s important to note that this upcoming project is not the previously announced spinoff, “Thread: An Insidious Tale,” which is still awaiting a release date, as reported by Deadline.
Starring Mandy Moore and Kumail Nanjiani, “Thread: An Insidious Tale” promises to delve further into the eerie universe of the franchise.
Director James Wan kickstarted the ‘Insidious’ series in 2011, followed by “Insidious: Chapter 2” (2013), “Insidious: Chapter 3” (2015), “Insidious: The Last Key” (2018), and the aforementioned “Insidious: The Red Door,” which emerged as the highest-grossing film in the franchise to date.
With the announcement of a new installment, it’s clear that the ‘Insidious’ franchise still has plenty of scares in store for audiences. Keep your eyes peeled for further updates as the release date approaches.
