NEON‘s enigmatic promotional campaign for the upcoming “Longlegs” stands out as the most compelling horror movie marketing of 2024 so far, and this week, the anticipation is heightened with the release of four official poster artworks.

After weeks of sharing cryptic teasers, it has been revealed that they all lead to “Longlegs.” The four striking posters were unveiled on social media platforms.

Directed by Osgood Perkins, known for works like “The Blackcoat’s Daughter” and “Gretel & Hansel,” this serial killer horror film features Nicolas Cage alongside Maika Monroe, with Monroe portraying an FBI agent and Cage embodying the role of the serial killer.

“Longlegs” is described as being “in the vein of classic Hollywood psychological thrillers.” The narrative follows FBI Agent Lee Harker (Monroe), a talented recruit assigned to an unsolved case involving an elusive serial killer (Cage). As the investigation takes intricate turns, revealing connections to the occult, Harker discovers a personal link to the ruthless killer and races against time to prevent him from claiming more innocent lives.

Alicia Witt from “The Walking Dead” and Blair Underwood from “American Crime Story” also feature in the film.

With an “R” rating for “Bloody violence, disturbing images, and some language,” “Longlegs” is produced by Nicolas Cage’s Saturn Films (known for “The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent” and “Pig”), along with Dan Kagan, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Dave Caplan, and Chris Ferguson. The movie promises to deliver a chilling blend of psychological suspense and classic horror elements.
