‘GRIND’: A Cosmic Horror Comedy Unveils the Hilarious Tale of College Students Hosting a Grindhouse Film Festival
From the creators of ‘Massacre Academy’ and ‘Wolf Hollow’ comes GRIND, a new cosmic horror comedy that depicts the story of a group of college students organizing a midnight grindhouse film festival. As the festival gains momentum, they come across a cursed arthouse film named “The Creeping Chaos.” Following the tradition of classic horror films, they make the unfortunate decision to play the film, unwittingly setting off a series of chaotic events.

GRIND is produced by Felissa Rose (“Sleepaway Camp” and “Victor Crowley”), Daniel John Kearney (“Dark Circles,” “Time’s Up,” “Wolf Hollow”) and is directed by Mark Cantu. It was penned by Mark Cantu, Lance Reedinger, Brian Bell and Brian Ceponis while the production company is Cineworx production. Scott Alan Ward (Craving, Macabre Mountain, Wolf Hollow, Isleen Pines) and Kent Collins (Go Away, Crust, New Fears Eve, The Slasher Nurse) are the Executive Producers.
The film is currently undergoing funding on Indiegogo and is scheduled to commence filming in late 2024 in Pittsburgh, PA. GRIND is slated for theatrical distribution upon completion.
