‘Into the Deep’ – Richard Dreyfuss Dives Back into Shark Attack Cinema in Upcoming Film
Fifty years after the iconic horror film “Jaws” first graced screens, Richard Dreyfuss is poised to navigate treacherous waters once again in the upcoming thriller “Into the Deep,” as reported by The Daily Jaws this week.
Joining Dreyfuss in this aquatic adventure is Scout Taylor-Compton, known for her role in “Halloween.”
Director Christian Sesma, recognized for “Section 8,” brings forth this new film, where “A group of divers searching for sunken treasure become witnesses to a murder carried out by modern-day pirates. However, amidst the chaos, a formidable killer great white shark emerges, determined to ensure none of them escape its domain.”
The ensemble cast features Stuart Townsend, Jon Seda, AnnaMaria Demara, Ron Smoorenburg, Lorena Sarria, Callum McGowan, Maverick Kang Jr., Tom O’Connell, and Tofan Pirani.
While there isn’t a trailer or specific release details available yet, a poster showcased on IMDb hints at an Alien-inspired catchphrase: “Underwater, no one can hear you scream.”
Keep an eye out for more updates as they become available.
“Into the Deep” boasts a screenplay penned by Chad Law and Josh Ridgway.
