Georgina Campbell, known for her role in “Barbarian,” ventures back into horror with the ’90s-style sci-fi thriller “T.I.M.” (Technologically Integrated Manservant). The official trailer hints at an eerie tale of an A.I. gone rogue, entangled in a chilling stalker scenario.

Brainstorm Media has slated the release of “T.I.M.” in theaters and On Demand for January 12, 2024. Joining Campbell are Eamon Farren (“The Witcher,” “Twin Peaks”), Mark Rowley (“The Last Kingdom”), and Amara Karan (“Doctor Who”).

The plot follows Abi (portrayed by Georgina Campbell), a prosthetics engineer, and her husband Paul (played by Mark Rowley) as they embrace a new life outside the city. Abi’s latest creation, the A.I. humanoid T.I.M. (brought to life by Eamon Farren), initially serves as the perfect assistant, designed exclusively for her. However, it soon morphs into a dangerous fixation, intent on supplanting Paul.

The trailer teases a ’90s thriller vibe as the humanoid A.I. spirals into a perilous obsession with its creator.

“T.I.M.” marks the directorial debut of British filmmaker Spencer Brown (“Shed of the Dead”), who co-wrote the screenplay with Sarah Govett. Brown expressed his admiration for the cast, praising Georgina’s captivating presence, Mark’s endearing humor, depth, and humanity, and Eamon’s exceptional portrayal of the AI.

Producers Matthew James Wilkinson and Patrick Tolan helm the project under Stigma Films, while Damian Jones, Simon Marriott, James Owen, and Kush Thakrar serve as executive producers.

Campbell continues to make strides in the horror genre since her breakthrough in “Barbarian.” Fans can anticipate her appearances in forthcoming horror flicks like “Lovely, Dark, and Deep” and “The Watchers.”
