Prime Video’s collaboration with the renowned author, “Harlan Coben’s Shelter,” debuted earlier this summer but has faced cancellation by Amazon this week, marking the end of its brief stint on the platform.

Joining the list of cancellations is “The Horror of Dolores Roach,” which also met the axe after its inaugural season.

Derived from Harlan Coben’s acclaimed Mickey Bolitar trilogy, the series revolves around Mickey Bolitar’s life upheaval following his father’s sudden demise, prompting a move to Kasselton, New Jersey. As he settles in, Mickey becomes entangled in the enigmatic disappearance of a fellow student, Ashley Kent, unraveling a web of unimaginable secrets lurking beneath the suburban tranquility.

Supported by his friends, the resourceful Spoon and the enigmatic Ema, Mickey peels away the town’s serene veneer, exposing a shadowy underworld concealing answers to long-standing disappearances, deaths, and local legends—alongside his intricate family history.

Jaden Michael led the cast as Mickey Bolitar, alongside Constance Zimmer as Shira Bolitar, Adrian Greensmith as Arthur “Spoon” Spindell, Abby Corrigan as Ema Winslow, Tovah Feldshuh as Bat Lady, Sage Linder as Rachel Caldwell, Brian Altemus as Troy, and more.

Showrunners and executive producers Harlan Coben and Allen MacDonald spearheaded the production, accompanied by executive producers Edward Ornelas and Erik Barmack. Charlotte Coben took on the role of producer, while Patricia Cardoso served as director and executive producer.
