Demonic Possession Horror Film ‘Killing Faith’ Features DeWanda Wise and Guy Pearce in Lead Roles
Film Bridge International is gearing up for the American Film Market with their latest supernatural horror offering, “Killing Faith.” The movie boasts an impressive ensemble cast.
According to Deadline, the film stars Guy Pearce, known for his role in “Prometheus,” and DeWanda Wise, famous for her appearance in “Jurassic World Dominion.” Additionally, Tim Roth, recognized for his iconic role in “Reservoir Dogs,” is in the final stages of negotiations to join the project.
The screenplay for “Killing Faith” is crafted by Ned Crowley, the talent behind “Middle Man,” who will also be taking the director’s chair for this chilling endeavor.
Deadline provides a sneak peek into the storyline, revealing, “Guy Pearce will portray Dr. Bender, a disillusioned physician who reluctantly agrees to accompany an anguished mother, portrayed by DeWanda Wise, on a perilous journey across a treacherous desert. The mother’s mission is to seek a cure for her daughter’s enigmatic affliction: possession by the devil. Tim Roth is set to bring the character of Preacher Ross to life.”
Notably, “Killing Faith” has successfully secured a SAG-AFTRA interim agreement, signaling a significant milestone in its production journey. As reported by Deadline, filming is scheduled to commence in New Mexico in January 2024, promising an eerie and thrilling cinematic experience for horror enthusiasts.
