SpectreVision Partners with Pluto TV for a Horror Movie Marathon Streaming Event
SpectreVision, the production company known for horror gems like “Mandy” and “Daniel Isn’t Real,” has joined forces with Pluto TV, a streaming platform, to bring viewers a thrilling Halloween surprise: a horror movie marathon streaming event.
Elijah Wood and Daniel Noah, the co-founders of SpectreVision, are set to curate a spine-tingling selection of their favorite horror and psychological films for Pluto TV users, and the best part is that it’s all free. This special marathon event is scheduled for Wednesday, October 18, and will be available on the Pluto TV Cult Films channel.
The theme for this horror-filled evening is “Ladies’ Night,” which pays homage to women-led horror stories. To kick off the marathon at 8pm ET/5pm PT, Elijah Wood and Daniel Noah will host a live stream-along on SpectreVision’s Instagram. This unique feature allows viewers to watch the films and enjoy special commentary from the hosts. In essence, it’s not just about watching their handpicked films; it’s about being an active part of the horror experience.
The lineup for the marathon includes the following titles:
– The Babadook
– Beyond The Black Rainbow
– Carnival Of Souls
– Goodnight Mommy
– The Love Witch
– The Hitch-Hiker
– The Invitation
– Let The Right One In
And if you’re lucky enough to be in Los Angeles, the Halloween festivities don’t end with the streaming event. Pluto TV and SpectreVision are collaborating for a free in-person screening on October 17 at 7:30pm. This special event will take place at the beloved non-profit theater, Vidiots. The evening will kick off with opening remarks from both Elijah Wood and Daniel Noah, followed by a screening of SpectreVision’s action-packed, blood-soaked, Nicolas Cage-starring 2018 horror film, “Mandy.” Tickets for this exciting screening can be reserved online through the Vidiots website.
