Prepare for a spine-chilling experience as Lionsgate’s forthcoming horror film, “Squealer,” unleashes its official RED BAND / NSFW trailer. Helmed by director Andy Armstrong, this film marks his directorial debut and promises to be a harrowing ride.
With an “R” rating attributed to it for “strong violence and gore, drug use, graphic nudity, some sexual material, and language throughout,” “Squealer” is set to hit Digital and On Demand platforms on November 3.
In “Squealer,” Tyrese Gibson, known for his roles in “The Fast and the Furious” franchise, and Theo Rossi from “Sons of Anarchy,” take center stage in this nerve-wracking thriller inspired by real events.
Here’s a glimpse into the plot: In a small town, young women begin to mysteriously vanish, prompting a police officer and a street-smart social worker to embark on a quest for answers. Their pursuit leads them to a remote pig farm, where they uncover a horrifying truth: the local butcher has been bringing his gruesome work home. Enter the twisted world of a serial killer and brace yourself for the bloodcurdling horror that’s sure to leave you breathless.
Joining Tyrese Gibson and Theo Rossi in the cast are Wes Chatham (“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2”), Katherine Moennig (“Ray Donovan”), Ronnie Gene Blevins (“The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It”), Danielle Burgio (“Fear the Walking Dead”), and Christina Gonzalez (“Cruel Summer”).
The screenplay for “Squealer” was co-written by Andy Armstrong and Danielle Burgio.
