Spiral Bound Interactive’s homage to classic Survival Horror games, “You Will Die Here Tonight,” has officially set its release date just in time for Halloween. The game, which was initially announced in July of the previous year, is set to launch on October 31st, exclusively for PC via Steam.

The development team expressed their excitement, stating on the game’s Steam page, “After several years of hard work, we can’t wait to share the game with you.”

Drawing inspiration from Capcom’s early Survival Horror title, “Sweet Home,” as well as “Resident Evil,” players will assume the roles of six members from the ARIES Division as they navigate a menacing mansion. The game is presented in a top-down pre-rendered 3D perspective, adding a nostalgic touch to the horror experience. Their mission: track down a dangerous killer. However, the mansion is infested with zombies, and ammunition is scarce. As a result, players will often find themselves resorting to evasive tactics to survive. When escape is no longer an option, the game seamlessly transitions to fully immersive 3D first-person combat.

In a manner reminiscent of “Sweet Home,” if one of your team members falls victim to the horrors within the game, you must press on as one of the surviving members of ARIES. This dynamic allows you to build upon the progress made by the fallen, all while dealing with the consequences of their actions. Echoing the game’s inspiration, each member of ARIES possesses unique skills and motivations that will influence how they confront the nightmarish challenges of their mission.

As Halloween approaches, “You Will Die Here Tonight” promises to deliver the spine-tingling thrills and strategic gameplay that fans of classic Survival Horror have been craving. Prepare to enter a world of dread and survival where every decision matters.
