ALLBLK, the renowned streaming platform dedicated to Black television content under AMC Networks, is set to send chills down the spines of viewers with the release of the trailer for the much-anticipated sophomore season of the supernatural drama, “Wicked City.”

Mark your calendars for Thursday, October 19, when the 8-episode second season will make its grand debut, offering a weekly dose of suspense and excitement exclusively on ALLBLK. For an exclusive sneak peek at what’s in store for Season 2, be sure to check out the trailer above.

In the inaugural season, viewers were immersed in the world of a powerful coven of Black witches who pushed the boundaries of their supernatural abilities after stumbling upon dark secrets and venturing into forbidden realms. As Season 2 unfolds, three months have passed since their failed attempt to thwart a malevolent magical slaver known as The Handler, portrayed by Karon Joseph Riley (“Ambitions”). In this season, the Atlanta coven finds itself shattered and scattered.

Jordan (played by Shaquita Smith, “The Couch”), who now presides over The Mystic Haven, and Angela (portrayed by Chantal Maurice, “P-Valley”), embark on a quest to rescue Sherise (Chanel Mack, “The Harder They Fall”), who is held captive by The Handler. Meanwhile, Mona (Mercedez McDowell, “The Resident”) has relocated, and Camille (Taylor Polidore, “Snowfall”) is placed in permanent hiding at the behest of her birth mother, Claudette (Rhonda Redette Morman, “Hush”). Unbeknownst to the coven, Tabitha (Vanessa Bell Calloway, “Shameless”) and Caden (Malika Blessings, “The Perfect Man”) find themselves ensnared within a nightmarish realm as Claudette seeks her vengeance. Simultaneously, Sherise is coerced into carrying out The Handler’s dark bidding at his upscale magical supper club, known as “Obsidian Dream.”

The cast of “Wicked City” Season 2 also features notable names, including reality TV star Yandy Smith (“Love and Hip Hop Atlanta”), Gary Anthony Sturgis (“Diary of a Mad Black Woman”), Samantha James (“Black and Blue”), Kamilah Meek (“Young Rock”), Kurtis D. Glenn (“The Assistant 3”), Clover J. Adams (“Taylor’s Diary”), Maurice P. Kerry (“Atlanta”), Krystal Monique Mosley (“Dhoom 3”), Michael Silberblatt (“Hawkeye”), India Marie Cross (“It Wasn’t Me”), Marco Reese Maldonado (“A Killer Romance”), Carrie Anne Hunt (“Magic Mike XXL”), Michael M. Jones (“P. Valley”), and Sasha McKoon.

Tressa “Azarel” Smallwood of MegaMind Media and Donte Lee serve as executive producers of the series. Melissa Llewellyn-Alston takes on the role of producer, while Dale Lewis directs for Relentless Studio. Leading the charge for ALLBLK are Brett Dismuke, Head of Content, and Nikki Love, SVP of Development & Original Production, Unscripted, who serve as executive producers for the platform.
