Here’s a brief synopsis of the spine-tingling plot:
“Victor Fielding (Leslie Odom Jr.) has carried the weight of sorrow since the tragic loss of his pregnant wife during a devastating Haitian earthquake twelve years ago. In the aftermath, he’s single-handedly raised their daughter, Angela (Lidya Jewett).
However, when Angela and her friend Katherine (Olivia Marcum) mysteriously vanish into the ominous woods, only to return three days later with no recollection of their ordeal, a malevolent force is unleashed. This sinister event triggers a series of harrowing incidents that compel Victor to confront the depths of evil. Driven by terror and desperation, he embarks on a quest to seek help from the one person alive who has encountered such malevolence before: Chris MacNeil (Ellen Burstyn).”
